PROFILE

A native of Fukuoka, SennaRin began her singing career as a high schooler, posting cover songs on YouTube and gaining more than 55 million views.
Known for her uniquely deep and transparent voice, the multitalented musician is also a lyricist and illustrator.
SennaRin made her major debut as a solo artist in April of 2022 with the release of her debut EP, “Dignified”, produced by renowned anime composer Hiroyuki Sawano.

COMMENT

When I heard my song had been picked up as the ED theme, of course I worked hoping for success, but when I actually got chosen I couldn’t believe it; it took a while to sink in.
You know, I was born the same year BLEACH the manga series began, and then I learned that the BLEACH movie has a character with my same name, Senna; it just seems like there’s been all these coincidences. And now, being a part of BLEACH in this way, I kind of feel it was all meant to be.

COMMENT

When I was composing the ED theme for BLEACH, I tried to remain particularly aware of the groove and the feel of the sound.
I tried to complete the arrangement so that I could really pull out the contrast between the first and second halves, that initial stillness, and then, the movement. My desire to emphasize the sound and rhythm led me to think of pursuing the sound of synth.
I feel SennaRin’s lyrics and vocals further enhance my efforts and expand the BLEACH world view.
This new beginning for BLEACH and SennRin’s new performance truly come together to form a genuinely meaningful composition.
I hope “Saihate” will deepen your enjoyment of the world of Bleach.
