THE BETRAYER
- STORY
- Ukitake takes the place of the slain Soul King by releasing the power of Mimihagi and becoming one with it. Realizing Mimihagi is preventing the world from collapsing, Ichigo and his friends engage Yhwach to stop him from destroying Mimihagi along with the Soul King’s remains. However, their efforts fail when they are attacked by Uryu. An emotional Ichigo demands that Uryu explain the true intention behind his recent actions, but the only answers he gets are hostility and empty words.
